Your Wedding, unscripted

Mostly candid, always your call. No line-ups unless you want one — the day as it actually happens.

The good stuff

Weddings, big and small, and a few that didn't fit a label. I let the day happen and take what's in front of me.

About

You won't know I'm there. That's the whole trick.

GoJones photography seal

I'm a wedding photographer because I like people and I like a good day out. My job, as I see it, is to tell the story of your wedding as it actually happens — the nerves, the noise, the quiet bits in between that you didn't even notice — so that years from now the photos feel like the day itself, not a version of it.

I like heavy metal and horror films, so the loud, dark, slightly chaotic end of a wedding suits me fine. If you want a few family photos or a couple of portraits, I'll happily do them and I'll keep them quick and painless — but the pictures you'll treasure are usually the ones nobody arranged: your dad welling up, your mates on the dance floor, confetti going everywhere.

I'm passionate about emotive images and storytelling. I edit honestly and keep things full of character, and I'll never ask you to do anything that doesn't feel like you. Based in Mid Wales, happiest on the road.
